Welcome to The Zooming Image. My name is Paul Trezise and I have been a photographer for over 26 years. My early days in photography were in Adelaide, which is my home city, working in the dark room processing films and prints.
From these humble beginnings, my photographic career began in earnest at the Shepparton News, where I completed a cadetship from 1984 to 1988. During this time, I was awarded honorable mentions in the Rothmans National Press Photo awards for my photography.
After leaving the Shepparton News, I was employed as a staff photographer for the Gold Coast Bulletin in South East Queensland for 5 enjoyable years.
During my time at the Bulletin, I won more awards and a merit in the high profile Nikon Awards for am impromptu photograph taken after a tragic bus crash at Mt Tamborine. I also receieved more awards
from the Rothmans National Press Photo Awards, including First Prize Picture Stories and a Special Merit Award for the difficult subject matter of the crash. The prizes I receieved during this time allowed me to travel to the
World Press Photo Awards in Amsterdam, a trip that was extremely rewarding both personally and professionally.
During the last 16 years, I have been a staff photographer for the Herald Sun and Sunday Herald Sun newspapers in Melbourne, ensuring a dedicated understanding of many different styles of photography. At the paper, my assignments included
news, fashion, business, lifestyle and sport. I also enjoy designing and arranging shoots based on my own ideas.
From weddings to the media, at The Zooming Image we have packages for all subjects and all budgets. Call today to talk to us about how we can work for you.
